Improve your financial knowledge for free

With rising prices in the shops, interest rates going up and inflation at the highest it has been for decades, there’s never been a better time to brush up on your financial knowledge.

Financial education in schools is patchy at best across the UK, leaving millions of people without the skills they need to navigate the complicated, jargon-filled world of finance.

But help is at hand. The Harrison Foundation and business partner True Potential – a financial technology firm that manages over £25bn of people’s savings – have invested more than £1.5 million with the Open University to create a range of money and business courses that are free to the public.

By taking these courses, you can increase your understanding of essential money matters, such as budgeting and investing.

More than a million people have taken the courses so far and by doing so, they have increased their own confidence and capability when dealing with money.

Harrison Foundation trustee and True Potential Chief Executive, Daniel Harrison, explains how these courses can help you.
